Improvement Studies

Turning evaluation results into improvement decisions is the Act stage of the PDCA cycle. This page presents the steps we have taken on the recommendations of the previous TEPDAD accreditation and our internal improvement plans.

Action on the recommendations of the previous accreditation

At the end of the 2019-2025 accreditation period, our faculty took the following steps on the recommendations made by TEPDAD.

Area and measures taken

Mission, vision and values

Stakeholder views were collected; the emphasis on social responsibility, accountability, transparency and social contribution was strengthened; the updates were institutionalised with the approval of the Faculty Council and published on the website.

Alignment with UÇEP 2020

Led by the Department of Medical Education, the institutional aims, programme objectives and outcomes were restructured around the core competencies and qualifications to be gained; all courses were mapped to UÇEP 2020 in the TEAD Software System.

Student feedback systems

The Feedback and Survey Commission created new, more comprehensive surveys aligned with the UÇEP and TEPDAD standards; the views of student representatives were collected; open-ended responses are planned to be turned into reports with AI support.

Digital transformation

The UÇEP Dean's Office Module, the Advising Module, the Exam Analysis System and the Meeting Management Module were developed, strengthening the traceability of education processes and institutional memory.

Social contribution

The Social Contribution Commission was established to make social contribution activities systematic, and has started its work.

Structure of MÖTEK

Eleven sub-commissions were set up within the Undergraduate Medical Education Coordinatorship, their duties were clarified and regular meetings were started.

Where progress is still pending

  • The AI-supported analysis system for student feedback surveys has not yet been put into use; it is planned to be completed during the 2025-2026 academic year.

  • The Training of Trainers Course could not be held in 2024; the 18th course was held in 2025, and the aim is to hold it regularly.
